Shelley transformed our Edwardian terrace, designing a knock-through kitchen-diner and outdoor space that completely revolutionised how we use our home. From the outset, he took the time to understand our needs and vision, developing a design that was both practical and deeply considered – balancing budget, sustainability, and a bespoke finishing quality that made the result feel truly unique.
His initial drawings proved invaluable, helping us get kitchen suppliers and builders aligned from the start. He guided us through every stage of the process – from building control and structural engineering to commissioning a fitted kitchen – making what felt like a daunting project straightforward and enjoyable. His research into materials was thorough, always keeping an eye on practicality and energy efficiency without compromising on design intent.
From first ideas to final finish, Shelley’s vision and professionalism brought to life a project we had dreamed about for years. We are absolutely delighted with the result.

We really enjoyed working with Shelley. His communication was clear and friendly, and his knowledge of materials and out of the box thinking enabled our vision to become reality.
Stage 1 of our works was to design our garden. This entailed the removal of 100 tonnes of soil, and construct a sedimentary designed gabion basket system, using integrated planting to soften the texture of the baskets. It is a truly magical sanctuary for us to relax and enjoy, quietly or socially in all seasons. This has transformed our very steep garden into something more than we could have possibly imagined.
This then gave us space to start stage two of our project, and with Shelley’s ideas he designed a beautiful full width back of house extension. The incorporation of steel beams and columns has created amazing spacious zoned areas, whilst maintaining an open plan feeling, flooded with natural light. This helps frame the external view, and gives a totally amazing ambience in the day and evening, which is admired by everyone.
